Last year was busy with a steady flow of nicely balanced work. The rocking chairs have been selling consistently and a nice dining suite took up most of the autumn. My wife and I had an inspirational trip to Venice in March and a more reflective fortnight in Dorset later in the year. A rather damp week in Falmouth in August allowed for plenty of time to browse art galleries in and around St Ives and we visited the Devon Guild gallery in Bovey Tracey on the way home.
This year has got off to a quiet start but a review of the website by clients and friends at the end of last year has got me thinking about website redesign while work begins to come in for the next few weeks. A couple of bigger projects are in the offing including a chapel and a suite of cabinets for a house in Berkshire.
A bit of down time has allowed me some maintenance time on my boat and plans for a celtic mandolin as a spare for one that I made several years ago.
